Just got my first mora! M2K. I made a trade w/ Jeff S1 for it (awesome guy to deal with FYI)! MY GOD...this thing is sharp

Crappy cell pic...

I can see why many of you have multiple moras....this will not be my last...good thing they are inexpensive :D

Thanks again to Jeff S1 for the AWESOME transaction!

I hear ya man! It was you that made me really jones for an M2K... :D I kinda like the sheath that it comes with though. I am going to make a lanyard hole in the handle of my knife...

I can see these are as addictive as crack cocaine

I like the original sheath, too. Putting a fancy sheath on a mora is like putting petty coats on a pig.

I can get my MK2000 sharper than any other knife I own. It's my favorite fixed blade.

For the price (i think) spooky paid for that sheath...i am tempted...but i need to clarify. Spooky...hit me up w/ an email re price on kydex.

I glued a bit of rubber matting to the inside of the M2K sheath - its seats the knife way better due to the friction and stops rattling.

I like kydex, but hey this mod is practically free.

Ya know I tried to find a picture of a pig in a petticoat to post and couldn't find one. :(

Anyway, I dig the M2K, but the #106 is my favorite followed by the #2. The Neverlost M2K will be very cool when it hits the market. Same knife without the puke green handle.

On the stock sheath. One way to get better retention is to heat the mouth with a heat gun (carefully), and form some retention in with your fingers. They are thin thermoplastic and will take a change of shape readily.

Spooky, why do have skulls on a Mora sheath? Weirdo. :p

Is this for real??? Or is this something you're hoping for?

I hated the weird green handle at first. Now, I really like it.

PS: This is post #1000 for me...and it only took (almost) nine years to get here! :D

Holy Crap! That just made my day! Btw, Kiahs, you can count on a few sheath orders from me soon. Everything I've seen of your work is top notch, and VERY inexpensive!

I like that orange 2K a lot! I also don't mind the swamp green, but if you're all thumbs and lose stuff in the woods, the orange might be a good choice. The 2K is a great knife.

I also don't mind the sheath.

Cool. I've already got an orange Clipper with the orange sheath. A matching 2K is a must now. I wouldn't mind one of the Craftline Punches in orange too.

Haha, some creepy guy thought it was cool. My real goal was to find a way to still freak out the norms on the trail with only a ~4" belt knife. :D No rambo knife? No problem!

That's awesome!

? Will the M2K throw sparks from a firesteel? I know...i know...newb question...

Yeah, but sometimes the spine is not square enough when 'new'. All you need to do is just file it flat at the spine, it only takes a square/sharp edge to get sparks off a firesteel (carbon/stainless/etc doesn't make any difference).
