Much difference in CF Sebenza vs full Ti?

I've got a small CF Insingo and the blade is dead centered. That's not to say though that slight uneven blade centering appears to be a known issue with the CF models. Mine just happens to be centered.

The biggest difference between my Small CF Insingo and Small Micarta Sebenza is the weight. Neither are that heavy but the CF is definitely noticeably lighter. I also think "the flick" on the Micarta is a little better mainly due to the added heft of the knife. That can really be said of most knives though.

I would just go with which ever one you like the best. Besides, you're going to get the other one eventually. :p

Okay, have settled on the 21 for my first. Last question, if you could only have one, would you get plain or inlayed? And why? Looks or feel or both? I know I am a pain, but have never spent this much and trying to avoid screwing it up.

Don't worry too much about it. Shop around for a good deal on the one that appeals the most to you, and, if you find you would rather have the other, then trade for the one you want.

I like the inlaid one for both look and feel, personally. I had one, many moons ago, back when I smoked and carried my keys around in one of the most obnoxious and unnecessarily complicated ways possible.

Personally, my one remaining Sebenza 21 is a large with micarta inlays and a polished blade. This is my favorite Sebenza configuration, and the one I will never get rid of. That said, it's entirely a personal decision and everyone's tastes are different. The plain TI Sebenzas have a charm and feel that is different than the inlayed versions. Hard to say which one a person will ultimately prefer.

I've had an umnumzaan, plain 21, micarta 25, and a micarta 21 insingo. I personally like the thicker feel of the inlays.

For what it's worth I only have the micarta 21 insingo left. I think it's all a matter of personal taste. If you hate it that much I'm sure you could at least sell it here.

Yeah, I am not going inlays. Either cf or flat ti. I just read the Seb is not ambidextrous. That is disappointing and may push me to the Inkosi, but not a fan of that thick blade. Sucks to not be the Publisher Clearinghouse winner. : )

If you are ordering from CRK you can get them to install a double thumb studs. Or you can send it in to them and thet'll install the double stud.

I have a large 25 CF and can say there are no centering issues on mine after lots of carry and use.
Excellent knife in every regard.
Joe
