Much porn I have for you. Let's get it on...

Those are great pictures. Photography been a hobby of mine for a few years now, but I havent tried much product photography like that. Did you use strobes or continous lighting? Also could you post a shot of the Sebie with the damascus blade open?

I run continuous lighting. I have 3 different setups, 2 of which use cool flourescents, the other uses hotter tungsten lighting (2000w).

If you follow the link I provided, you'll see over 70 images, many of which are full shots of the large Sebenza and the amazing blade.

Thanks for the reveal on the set up. I tried to followw the link but it looks like I'd need to sign up first to see them.

Nothing to worry about, I own the website... we don't spam or anything. I just keep my forum locked down due to exclusive photography I do in the Sneak Peeks area, and I despise seeing it end up on eBay.

Incredible, stunning, photos. The Rainbow leek never appealed to me, but against that black background...WOW!

Also, that large Sebbie is the most beautiful knife in the world IMO.

Thanks.

I tell ya, while there are many other knives out there that have better steel and whatever... IMO the Leek in its many various finishes, is one of the best EDC knives ever made. I love the low cost, the smooth feel, the slim profile, and the lightning fast assisted opening.

Something so cool about the Leek (as well as the other sizes)... I plan to own a few dozen just to have.

jskelton,

I know this a little off topic, but what camera and lens combo do you normally use?

Jim, just became a member to see your photos. I have never seen such artful perfection. Please buy more knives (especially Kershaws :D) and take more photos of them!

I have always tried to find a good pic of the rainbow leek, now I have one!

Interesting. I thought your watch photography was kept in the sneak peeks section which was members only. The rest of your forum was open. On top of that, copyright software is either free or cheap enough that you would spend less than $50 on it.

Love the knives !! Especially the first one and the mcusta VG-10, love the blue in them. Its already been said but exceptional pics !!

Cool. I'm a Canon guy myself. I just upgraded to the 5D Mark II that was released last year, but I don't have any real good macro lenses.

I don't know which one in more expensive, knife hobby or photography.

Great photos!!!!!!!!!! I'm into cameras as well as knives and they just blow me away ...so nice!

Sir, your photography skills are equalled only by your taste in blades.
