Carried, lightly used and sharpened, this Active Duty has a convex relief grind, and a flat bevel cutting edge at about 15 degrees per side. The edge is crazy sharp, whittle's hair easily. The edge might be a little thin for some users, but it can be easily thickened with either a convex or flat bevel, or just maintain it as is and enjoy a super-slicing heavy duty knife. This has a polished cutting edge, not toothy at all but could quickly be made toothy with a few passes on a coarse sharpener.
