Tuesday was 54 degrees and raining. The forecast was the same for today so I dressed for cold, damp weather. It was 70 and humid.







NJ Pine Barrens sand is the same consistency as the beach sand on the shore. In July and August it gets hot in here.

The Pine Barrens in the rain have a sweet smell. My grandparents lived on the Rancocas 20 miles north of Batsto. The smell reminds of those days

Snack time. I left the PB&J on the kitchen counter. I went by two McDonalds, three Wawas and the Dunky Doughnuts in Egg Harbor and everyone of them I thought I should get breakfast. This is butter and brown sugar slow cooked until it makes a trail candy. It also goes great in tea.





The forecast for rain was wrong. The sweater is off, the jacket off. It is humid.
