Muddy Pete's day off (Church of the good big woods)

Fun with food and knives. Tangerine chicken.

I finally figured how to use the sharpened top side on the Cuma. It’s works like an Ulu blade.

The Acme didn’t have tangerines. Or red peppers so I used a Poblano chili pepper and a red bell pepper for color.

I let it marinate for a few hours.

I was disappointed that the oil in pan didn’t ignite.

Cool shots Pete. I thought I had already replied to this thread but I guess I got caught up in a stroll down memory lane and forgot to. I like the old church, it sort of reminds me of the ruins of a large burned out church surrounded by woods in St. Louis. I lived in the bell tower of that one for a while before heading back south.

Thanks for the pics. I think I remember passing the Pine Barrens area on the way to A.C. once or twice. Good to see that my college friends from N.J. weren't lying when disputing that the "armpit of America" has some nice spots! haha. MD here.

Thanks,

There's a lot of really nice out of the way places in NJ. We just don't advertise. I'm from Maryland. We advertised and then came the land developers and the realtors and the Pizza Hut. :) I digress. I'm hoping to get some actual overnight camping in before the summer season starts.
