Knife has only been used once, and very lightly. There is a small amount of patina or dirt in the grooves of the edge... a couple quick passes on a strop removed most of it so I'm pretty sure it is just dirt. The coating on one side of the tip flaked off the day we received it. Very small spot, you can see it in the second pic.
