Muhammad Ali dead.

Muhammad Ali was a fantastic boxer. He and smokin' Joe should be remembered for a long time. I read that he purchased a 1.7 million dollar home in Louisville KY, his home town in 2007 (2009?). I assume he died in Louisville. I'm glad he wasn't poor like so many boxes after their career's end.

Ali considered himself a conscientious objector to avoid the draft. He stated his Muslim religion was a peacefull religion thus the conscientious objector status. Yea right. That wont fly in todays times. Malcom X was a big influence on him.

I agree Ali was a good boxer. I liked the bantering between Howard Cosell and Ali every time they got together, but that was it. There was entertainment in watching Ali.

I saw Ali in Towle Fitness Center at Ft Bragg in 1991. He didnt say much. You can tell he was affected with the Parkinson disease
then.

I like Tyson better... he's an animal.

That took waaaay longer than I thought it would, but not because I knew it was against the rules, I didn't. However, I feel that it is unjust to say someone is a bad person without providing context and a history of their behavior. My apologies if posted in the wrong forum. It is clear that the moderator doesn't agree with my point of view. I have seen posts made in the wrong forum before, and moderators moved the posts to the proper forum. I'm curious, did you move my posts to the political arena, or put them where no one can see them?
