Mule MT06

This is what the seller I bought it from said:
BRAND NEW MINT MAROON LEATHER KNIFE SHEATH FROM BUCK. 7" OVERALL.3 1/2" DEEP POUCH. FRONT EMBOSSED "BUCK KNIVES". SNAP MARKED"BUCK". THESE ARE CONSIDERED SECONDS BECAUSE MODEL NUMBER IS NOT MARKED ON BACK. LOOKS SAME AS A 191 BUT SHORTER.

Hope this helps. The sheath is just right for the Mule :)

I agree, and they were ridiculously cheap, too.

I've decided to get the MT02 Mule to do the comparison of the CPM-S35VN and M4 blade steels on my own. Thanks to a forumite, I've got the M4 blade.
Here are two of them:

I used them both and from my cutting tests both steels have been amazing!
I love both of them equally with S35VN having advantage of being less corrosion prone.

Yep. I recently posted a pic of a brand new sheath made for my Mules. It's a kydex sheath with leather lining. The MT05 does not stain, the MT06 does. Ever so slightly, but it does. So store it outside the leather sheath (which is always better anyway) or lightly oil the blade when outdoors.

Reverse the sheath....make one with leather outside and kydex liner. I might make one for mine.

Thanks, Marion. I always enjoy your threads on Mules as well as your blog. Thank you for doing it. It was due to your posts that I decided on the Halpern. And the option 3 in gray are thinner than others and I like these the best.

That's why I like this Buck sheath- it is from quality leather with plastic insert for the blade. I decided to get one for M4 Mule too, no rusting worries :)
