What type of finish? it looks almost stone washed. Is this just for this run or will the rest be finished like this too?

It is not stone washed....I got mine and it looks alot like the last run...

Maybe not stone washed but its darker. Orange handle 52100 mule

I was thinking that the straw color might be from heat treatment of the blade.

....I'm sure it still cuts like a laser. I can always get my 52100 Woodcrafts VERY sharp. I just have to take care to wipe them dry before they get put away....a little oil on the blade is good too.

How does your Mule T3 cut?

My T1 came from the factory SUPER sharp, while T2 arrived "just sharp". But after using the Spyder-V ceramics, it now stays scary sharp!
