Mulltitools?

I carry a leatherman charge Ti daily now. It's especially handy at work. At first it was not my idea to EDC it, especially since I was just carrying a small case stockman to work. So it was heavy at first, and now I'm used to it. But it has come in handy so many times, it's hard to leave behind. At work I use the screwdrivers and pliers fairly often. Outdoors the screwdriver gets less usage, but the pliers, saw, serated blade get plenty of use. I just with the charge Ti had an awl built in.
 
I really belive that a multi tool is a better option to carry EDC than a folding knife. There more versital and if you need a knife you have one or more depending on the tool.
 
I agree. And the leatherman charge tti Has the S30V steel knife blade. I've found it holds a near razor sharp edge well. Do it's not like I have to compromise.
