Leatherman Blast, great selection of tools, and light for its size.
PS, I used it two days ago to cut metal banding on a couple pallets of material with the wire cutter part of the pliers, and it worked like a champ. (Who said they're not strong?)My vote went to the Leatherman Wave.
This multi tool has a functional set of tools, and I like the way it feels. And all the blades/tools lock open eliminating accidents when least needed.
Get the Leatherman Surge...It has exactly the same tools as the Wave, but is larger.
I haven't had the pleasure of seeing or handling Surge. How much bigger than the Wave is it?

Thanks man. Not enough difference to make a difference for me though.
Buy Wave, you wont be disappointed
+ 25 year warranty
I always wondered why they don't do a "Life Time" warranty if they really believe in their products like; Victorinox/SAK, Gerber, Sog?![]()
I have a hunch Leatherman would continue providing warranty service even after the expiration date, much as they presently do with returned products that had obviously been abused and without flaw in manufacture. They did that for me once, and I had fully expected to have been charged for the service. It would, however, let them off the hook for "retired" models for which parts would no longer be in stock.
