Dear Users,
I am looking for that perfect way of carrying my Victorinox Spirit. I was wondering if everyone who so desired could post links to every aftermarket wheath manufactor they know. Not just for Victorinox, but for any multi-tool. I figure we can all benefit from this little buffet of links. Thanks for the time!

P.S. It doesn't necessarly have to be on belt sheaths only. I once came upon a knive sheath that was made for your pocket that kept your MT in place. I thought it was a great idea, and wanted to order one, but never found the link again. : I Eh, maybe someone will post it. Thanks again guys/girls!

I am interested in this thread as well.

There are a zillion quality handgun holster makers out there. One would have to make some for mutitools?????????????????????

LEATHER?

I now carry my spirit every day because of this set-up. It's a Camillus Heat clip welded on my Spirit. It is strong. The metal would tear before the weld gave. I strongly recomend this.

kodak!,
THAT IS AMAZING!!! I can't believe that!!! I didn't list it, but my first prefence was a modification to the Spirit to add a clip. I was worried about warping of the tool, or discoloration of the stainless steel if I added a clip. Neither of these are an issue?
Because of this I went straight to the sheath option, but I would rather avoid this on account of the fact that I am a 19 year old city boy, and that just doesn't suit me or my style. But hey, you've gotta' be equipped.
Could you send me any of the links or information necessary to do that modification? It would be GREATLY appreciated!!! I am really glad your post came along, I was prepared to opt for a much underequipped (by comparison) Leatherman Kick with clip, or a standard SAK, neither of which would have served me as well as the Spirit has. Any help on the mod would be great. Thanks again, and sorry for the rant.

Sorry, I forgot to ask: "Could you also include the exact details of the procedures as I am a bit of a novice?" It would be greatly appreciated. I am tired of leaving the Spirit at home, just because I don't want to carry it. To quote you: "I carry my spirit everyday because of this clip" I would like the same joy. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Kodiak,

You know, if you wanted to make some extra cash I am sure several people would send there spirits in to you for this mod. I would.

I highly recommend SOE gear(now BDS tactical)'s Leatherman Pouch. Price is reasonable, and the quality outstanding.
Perfect fit for the ST200, and probably the SwissTool and similar sized tools. Maybe a tad deep for smaller tools.
I hate velcro, and don't trust snaps, so the fastex buckle is a huge plus for me.

My friend at work used a Tig welder and 308 stainless steel rod. It comes out looking great. I used a camillus heat clip because it is the perfect shape, and has a hole in the middle just the right size. I'm not sure you would want to buy a knfe just for the clip. But then again, I did. :D

Anyone think this would work as well as the Camillus clip?

It has the hole for the rivit in the spirit, and you can put it on your belt still.

Questions regarding the Sprit/Clip Modification:

1. Would this mod void the LIFETIME warrenty? (I imagine so, though it won't stop me from doing it)

2. Is the Leatherman Clip the same steel as the camillus?

2a. If so, would you use the same welding methods?

2b. If not, how would you weld the Leatherman Clip?

3. Do you weld around the rivet?

4. Can the tool still open as it should?

Any additonal info on adding a clip to the Spirit (Victorinox) would be great! Thanks all!

Thats a great idea! It will definetly work. I welded one on to my Blast. I didn't think of it last night.

So this clip can be welded onto the old Wave as well?

If so, i am ordering one from LM.
