Multi-tools (LM, SAK) blades in wild? How do they fare?

I just posted in another thread that at times in the summer, a Farmer is all I take. The type of weather where the daily low is 65+. Fire becomes easy so need to baton and shelter is almost unnecessary. Actually, in that kind of weather a knife is almost dead weight.
