Multiple "Traditional Knives" as EDC

So far for the past couple of weeks I have only been carrying one on me at a time depending on the situations. I usually carry my large case amber bone cv stockman with my regular edc, or between a yellow cv medium stockman and a yellow cv trapper with dress pants for more dressy occasions. Though in the past the urge has been to strong to resist having 2 or 3 on me at a time.

sometimes I have bigger knife like GEC 72 with me and then I have smaller one like: Case pen knife, Buck 309, Gec congress or Case Swayback jack. Bigger one is for the rougher work while smaller is for cutting in public.

It is a rare occasion that I only have one knife on me; usually it's 2 or 3. However, one that is nearly always with me is one of my Peanuts.

I always have 2 on me, a Buck 301, and a 303.
And usually a bigger backup knife, like a belt knife.

I like to find two knives that ride great together, then when I switch to one, I usually pick it's partner too.

i always keep a sak recruit on my keys, and carry a main knife. at work it's a modern knife, after work and on the weekends it's a traditional.

Ya know, carrying multiple pocket knives does not have anything to do with being practical, or anything like that. It's like a woman wearing more than one item of jewelery. Sometimes a man has some pocket jewelery on him.

In all truth, the most practical pocket knife is a small sak, but where's the fun in that. Sometimes it's nice during the course of the day to take out a nice jigged chestnut bone and well patined CV bladed knife just to take it out and admire it in a moment of calm. Or when you need a moment of calm. Or you may wish to also carry a nice little MOP pen knife from Sheffield just for the pocket jewelery aspect of it. Something to rest your eyes on for a bit, as well as a change. If women can wear multiple items of jewelery, cannot we men have more than one item of pocket jewelery on us to admire now and then?

Let's see: lower left cargo pocket - Case large sodbuster, Opinel #8; left pants pocket - Case stockman with the amber bone (?) scales i won from theJammpa; right pocket - Pioneer Harvester; watch fob pocket - 108 OT (carried over 30 years, can't leave home without it); and lower right cargo pocket - RR canoe (because the acryllic scales are purty). And sometimes my Kerry Hampton BP in my left BP.

I think that about covers it...

One
An EDC in a belt pouch

Not including the SAK Classic on my key chain and the SAK Farmer on my emergency kit

or a tiny toothpick in my pocket.........

Just one...........

I often carry more than one knife, a traditional and a one hander. If I only carry one, it will be one of my small 'big three' these days, small Texas jack, swayback jack or canoe.

I always carry two, sometimes three or more. Its different everyday. Here is my rotation...

This is in addition to my modern knives, a flipper on a clip in my right hip pocket, a necker, and a fixed blade on my belt sideways on my back. I never have two slip joints in the same pocket so it leaves me with my two front pockets and watch pocket.
