Watching O2W and seeing people buying multiple of a blade and then looking at the collections of people having multiple, am I the odd man out who is more into variety than having multiples of a blade?

The only thing I can see that I would buy a second of is a Gladius and an AK (gave mine to my wife as an appeasement gift).

I used to think with the Busse warranty there's no risk.

One breaks, get a new one.
Well, you get shop credit and can buy a new blade of similar value but most likely not the same blade you lost.
Thus it's good to have a backup of one you truly like. I couldn't afford that but understand the people who can. Still I got 2 TGBG. :-) One for me and one for my brother in law.

The best insurance is the kind you have full control over... at the end of the day, if you can't touch it, there is no guarantee you ever will again. That's why a pair & a spare is good coverage for just in case of: theft, loss, accidentally burying it under 6 feet of dirt with your tractor, boating accident, choices of angry/vindictive spouse/family/friends, confiscation (never go through tsa checkpoints with a knife you love), etc, many of which are not covered by insurance/warranty. ;)

True...but I'll add it's even better to have a spare for your spare ;)

I like a variety of multiples. :D

I mostly own only 1 of's...but I would buy multiples of everything I liked if it were more econimical to do so.

I'm with you on the variety. I generally only order doubles or triples (or more) if it's an offering where I want to get one for my kids, wife or family.

I wouldn't mind having another NMSFNO though...

Id like to have multiples of Verity lol....at least as many as i can afford (but different color combos) plus they look cool on Pics
For now the only Multiples i got is 4 HG55s and 5 Ash1s and few one offs that im working on turning into multiples lol

I had two B10s, but I sold one because I picked up enough similar blades to make me feel like losing the one I have left wouldn't be disastrous. The only Bussekin that I now have two of is the 1311, because it's a great user, and there's nothing else in the Bussekin stable that could replace it for now.

I have been buying multiples of ones I really like in case one got stolen or lost. It finally occurred to me that if one got stolen, the replacement right beside it is probably going, too...

I think a backup house is in order to keep my Bussekin safe

More than one of the same knife ...................now that's just plain crazy
