Otherwise no comment on the question at hand - sorry - I use a SOG occasionally but without enthusiasm.

That was AWESOME! My wife's face was priceless when she read your comment. I couldn't stop laughing! Definitely worth no dinner and a night on the couch.

If i want to be well equipped, i put a rebar and a sak alox soldier in my bag. I like to carry a micra in my pocket, as it adds some functionality to my regular edc which is the peanut,
The charge/wave are a bit bigger than the rebar, which is why i chose the latter, and i like the old boxy look.
Yeah, i'd say keep the PST and get that Dime if you like it.

On the weekends, running errands, or going out with the wife one of these will ride along.

For EDC I use a Leatherman Sideclip. It rides in my pocket barely noticed until needed. If I'm in the woods I carry a Wave or Swiss Tool in my pack and a Farmer in my pocket.
