Here's some bannock I made last weekend backpacking. I used 1 cup white spelt flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 cup flax seeds 3 tbsps powdered vanilla soy milk and mixed that part at home.

Then Blueberries

Looks good. I like bannock because you can use it so many different ways and it's so easy to make. Love the LMF sporks too!

Hey HD I am going to have to go camping with you!!!

BTW what type of frying pan is that, I need one to go with my stow-a-way.

Thanks, Chris

That's my pal Daves frying pan. Not sure where he got it.

4 of us went so we all carried different elements of the group cookware stove, water filter etc. We mostly cooked on the fire but I brought 2 little alcohol stoves too.

I have a 6" SS skillet for packing I use. I bought it in a mess kit at one of those truckload of tools sales.

One thing about the thin skillets. They cook WAY better on coals than a stove. Stove heat is too intense and everything sticks to it. Coals spread the heat evenly.

Yeah I have experienced that myself, I usually use the stove for the pot cooking and boiling and fry on the coals.

I want a small teapot and a fry pan in stainless, just have to find the right ones. Thanks, Chris
