Hello dear friends,

A revolution is to happen into the 'hive' soon and this knife is the second 'teaser' - named 'Murder Hornet (MH)' this will be the aggressive part of the project.
Why revolution - because we not only change names but we also change processes and strategy which will be integrated step by step and even if i will not reveal what it will happen i assure you will enjoy!

So, with God's good will today i present you the 'Murder Hornet (MH)' in an EDC (Soldier), ultra light presentation - full size, titanium frame lock folder - the aggressive part of the hive.

Built around a titanium 'core' this folder is a gorgeous cutter.

An aluminium/vanadium alloy, Grade 5 TA6V titanium offers an excellent compromise between mechanical strength, toughness and ductility hence it was the choice for the mechanic frame of the folder.
The detent ball is high quality ceramic for an ever lasting smooth action without deformations.

All screws are precision machined blackened steel, the stop and pivot pins are hardened, precision ground 400c stainless steel so no wear in there even after prolonged years of use.
The blade slides on phosphorous bronze washers with 'grease pockets'.

The blade is made using the high carbon W2 tool steel (beware it is not rustproof but you know me - i am the carbon steel guy :D), with a high flat grind and a well presented hamon. The blade comes razor sharp.

Murder Hornet 'Soldier' features on short including new features:

- W2 high carbon tool steel, wearing the first 'machine hamon' - this is the first blade wearing a hamon polished without any hand sanding (less the etching part) - even if it is not a performance advantage it is for sure an excellent way into offering very consistent results with decent effort that translates in keeping the prices steady for you ;)
- Grade 5 TA6V titanium frame - longitudinal satin finish - mechanism part
- FAT carbon 'gold camo', reverse side - ultra light, aggressive look (knives wearing this kind of setup are noted as 'Sodier' )
- precision chamfered edges - new feature that offers consistent and crisp edge chamfering
- phosphorous bronze washers with 'grease pockets'
- screws are precision machined blackened steel
- the stop and pivot pins are hardened, precision ground 400c stainless steel
- one off custom made, solid brass thumb stud to match the theme

- the blade is surface flattened on a new generation high end surface grinding machine with tolerances from 1 to 3 microns.
- the stop pin is taken to size by precision grinding it instead of using the lathe which offers microns precision and better overall fit
- all Ti scales are cut on a new, high precision, micro waterjet machine.

OAL - 7.87", Blade - 3.55"

The price for this Soldier Murder Hornet is 350 usd (OPTIONAL - please add 20 usd for a solid carbon fiber milled pocket clip or 30 usd for a solid cross cut exclusive carbon fiber milled pocket clip). Express shipping included (for non remote areas)

For anyone that has another of our knives (folder/fixed) the price for the knife
(no extras) is only 310 usd (fidelity bonus)

All the best, God bless,
Bogdan

Excellent work. Most excellent.

just informed bogdan , the green handled version i bought similar to this one is the smoothest action of any of his knives i have bought. it is as smooth as a $1000 custom , glides open and closes with satisfying click, his knives just keep getting better and all for the bargain price. no wonder you have to be quick to secure one shows how canny collectors are. dave
