I bought the regular Kabar Mini Dozier Hunter, black handle with satin blade, lockback bar and lockback pin. Also got the blaze orange version with black blade, lockback bar and lockback pin. I then swapped out the parts. Now I have a totally black mini Dozier. Nice and stealth! While the orange version has a shiney blade so it's more visible. I keep the blacked out (I'll name her Eve) version on me, my EDC. The orange one is going into the emergency first aid kit
Odd thing though, the black blade is razor sharp, slices through paper like butter and wittles hair. While the plain satin blade is dull and pushes paper without cutting very well. I found that also with my first mini Dozier too. I had to use the Sharpmaker to get it sharp. This is all straight out of the box as well! I wonder if Kabar's manufacturing is faulty. I still love them though. I don't mind taking it to the Sharpmaker. Makes good practice!
Anywho, Here's Eve, all murdered out
Added more shots. Eve and Ginger
