This is an unused custom paring knife that I ordered from Murray Carter. It has a cocobolo handle, brass bolsters and brass pins. The blade is made from laminated white steel which has high carbon steel in the middle of stainless steel. The blade is 4 3/16" (3.5 sun) and the handle is 5" long. It comes with the original box as shown in the photos.
The differences between this knife and lower cost knives that Murray Carter sells are the balance and the contoured handle. The balance feels more like a custom hunting knife, and the contoured handle fits very well in your hand.
The knife was too beautiful for me to use, so I have kept it in my collection. It was built by Murray to be used. I am asking $320 which includes shipping in the US (international shipping paid by buyer). I accept check or paypal (2% for paypal fee).
