A friend of mine had a Carter deba knife and he ask me if i could change the handle and make also a saya.
I used bafallo horn ,an exotic wood (don't remember the name) and wenge wood.
I use the knife and i can tell that is the best blade i have ever cut,extremely hard and also very easy to sharpen!

I hope i did a good job for a blade like this..

Is that all one steel or san mai? It's hard to tell with the mirror polish! That's a great looking handle btw.

Yes ,it's a san mai with white 1 core from hitachi.
