Murray Carter neck knife comments

Party pooper. I'm no snob for buying a knife of his (and yes, I know that's not what you meant), and I seriously doubt Murray Carter is either. In fact, I happen to have it on good authority that he's one of the most humble knifemakers in the industry and just a plain ol' nice guy to boot. Even if he is, so what, can't I simply be happy about a new knife without having moops p!ss all over my good time?

I'll let the absurdity of your opinions on this matter speak for itself.

Sorry, it's been a long week and it's only Tuesday, frustrated as all hell, maybe even pissy. I'm not trying to start a fight, I just can't understand a thing he says on his site... and I'm certainly not trying to piss on your parade. It's certainly a sweet little blade.

No worries 'Rucker, it's all good. And chin up, tomorrow is hump day, all downhill from there. A new knife always makes me feel better.

Got a HI Annapurna Bowie that'll be on my porch tomorrow morning, should make life a little easier I got home and had a few of those Sierra Nevada Tumbler fall brown ales with a chunk of salmon fillet, that helped too

Murray called me up today and told me that my knife should be perfect, that he'll just need to grind out a little bit from the tip and that it should be no problem. He called me up personally to tell me that after he just (literally just walking into the door, hadn't been up to the shop yet) got back from a four day hunting trip. And I actually felt bad for having to really hang up on him because I was at the post office. He was saying how he hit a buck with his G20 10mm at 36 yards. :thumbup:

Murray Carter is the farthest thing from a snob, just a genuine, nice person with a God given talent for creating beautiful tools. He's really an great person with an incredible story.
