I believe so, the forged knives typically have 3 pins, with at least one of them mosaic. Wali is a great guy to do business with, and the Carters I have owned come from the maker very sharp.
 
:thumbup:Thanks Jeff! I am not sure if it is a Muteki. It is Hitachi #1white steel. 3" blade. 7" oal. 3oz.:D
