Here is a Murray Carter White Crane with Ironwood Burl Handle and laminated damascus blade. Knife is a blem indicated by the "x's" over the Carter stamp.
Knife shows signs of use but no damage to edge or blade itself. Still incredibly sharp as most all Carters are. There are some small speckles of rust along the spine of the blade tang. Wood handles are in great condition. I contacted Mr. Carter and was told for a small charge he can refurbish the knife and polish the blade to look new.
As far as the blemish goes if you look on the backside of the blade near the tip theres a very small blemish where the laminated steel meets. It's about the size of a pen tip so you can see how much of a perfectionist Murray is. This in no way affects the blades performance.
