Hate to sell this. The only Carter I have. I always intended to use it, but it has been sitting for years now.
Blade is about 3 1/2" measured from the edge of the black micarta handles. Handles are very nicely polished with mosaic pins.
Actual edge is about 3". Overall length is 7 1/4".
And of course it is the amazing Hitachi white steel. You can see the lamination line on this one, but I could not capture it in a pic. Really, the sharpest stuff I have ever handled. This one comes with the original kydex necker style sheath and a sweet sheath from Treestump Leather (from Ellsworth Maine). The sheath has a Malaysian tree frog inlay. Top notch all around.
Knife is near mint. Never used, carried, or re-sharpened. Maybe a couple very faint storage/handling marks if you look hard enough.
