I took a few shots from a little museum in a small northern city, in Saskatchewan, Canada. The summer student was nice enough to open the display so that I could really check out the original Hudson Bay Camp knives....I do not support Nazi beliefs and actually find it all horrendously disgusting and abhorrent. I am posting the SS blade because it was part of a historic war display.

Very interesting indeed. When I was in high school, I had this history teacher who brought in weapons and gear from all main sides of WWII. This was pre 9/11 so of course no one freaked out; he had the whole length of the class room filled with bayonets, rifle, pistols and all sorts of gear. I still remember holding a Luger and a japanese bayonet :)

When I was 15 or 16 I bought a British Commando knife( same knife as WW II Commando 2nd from left on top 1st pic) at an Army-Navy Surplus store. I paid $2 for it. Someone told me a British
Commando would sneek up behind someone with 1 arm around the neck in back of someone and push the BCK into a kidney.
I sold mine about 20 years ago for $25.

Yupper bud. When I was a youngster you could walk into an old army surplus store and walk out with all kinds of toys. Changing times have tightened it all up now it seems. Maybe that's a good thing, considering what society is devolving into.

Yup, These are the tools that our fathers\grandfathers used to help free the world with. It still impresses me that those little rat tail tanged knives were so effective.
