I had a gorgeous Case Muskrat in their Chestnut Bone CV:

It was a great knife - easy to pocket, good size. However, it is the same frame as their 6347 Stockman, which I prefer for the blade variety. This particular specimen went to live with our fellow forumite, ISKRA, over in Slovenia. Hopefully he is still enjoying it, or has passed it on to someone who does.

After seeing all of the great muskrat photos I can appreciate why this knife is favored by lots of folks.

But, the pattern's blade duplication is not to my liking so much.

That Queen looks like a perfect Ratcliffe candidate ... just sayin'. Unless it's a collector & not a user, I bet you'd like it a whole lot more with a nicely shaped wharncliffe secondary (you & I shared the same sentiments - blade duplication didn't make much sense to me)...

Interesting yes but it would be tricky. The nail nick and length of the blade plus my poor skills would result in a Marecliffe:eek::D Anyway, the knife is so well-made I don't want to tamper with it.
