This is a pattern that I call my Muskrat Skinner,I first made this model when I was living in Klamath Falls,Ore. for a guy who trapped Muskrats in the winter for a living, thus the name.
The blade is 1/8" 154 cm(not cpm)at RC 61/62 it is just under 1" wide by 2" long with an overall length of 5".The bolters and pins are 416ss and the handle is Stabelized Spalted Maple with Red Space.
This knife comes with a 9oz handstiched and wetfomed horizontal leather sheath.
Hope you like it and thank you for looking.

with that level of precision on that small of a scale. I wish I was a muskrat hunter...I love that maple, too.

Very nice. I really like that and an awesome fit and finish! Nice work!

P.S. My parents moved to Klamath Falls a few years ago from Susanville, CA and my aunt lives in Anderson.

This is a beautifully executed special purpose knife; the design, materials and workmanship are all excellent! David is an excellent craftsman; his communications, and packaging are very good. Highly recommend David and his work.
