Muskrat

I'm new to the site but carried a old timer 770ot Muskrat for 20+yrs and lost it or thought so and started looking for a new replacement and found out Schrade wasn't the same "a little behind times oh well" nothin new for me. Loved the style Case has lots of choices except hard to find a"CV" in muskrat.

Welcome to the forum, 6.0stroker. I think you'll enjoy your stay here.

I wanted to try the Muskrat pattern so I bought a Rough Rider Sawcut bone. I was "surprised" by the quality on this one, its no Bose for sure but for 10.00 try it out and buy up to what you really want if you like the pattern then pass the RR off to a non knife friend.

Just got this one from Vincent, very nice solid knife;

Gary, could you go into a bit more detail about that knife please? That is one sharp-looking muskrat.

Well they are a limited series of knives made each year with
influence from Mr Tony Bose, this series was made in 2004

overall length closed is about 4"
both blades are ATS-34 steel and 2.89" long and .089" thick

Handle has jigged bone scales with a pinned shield
handle is .47" thick at the center pin
and measured across with blades closed the handle
is .879" from back of blade to back of handle.

Very nice!
