This thread is for you guys to tell the must have knife for under $150 dollars.
Can be a folder or fixed, 3"blade or 10"blade.
I don`t care, just has to be a knife
Go!
I own some of these but many are still on my wish list, especially the wonderful Fixed Blades by BF Makers.
Many Custom Fixed Blades by Makers on this Forum.
Many TB/Case, especially the TB Backpocket in Ebony.
Elishewitz Hogue.
Benchmade AFCK, or the Bob Lum's. These do show up in mint condition on BF Exchange from time to time.
Cuda Maxx 5.5
Spydreco: Sage 1 is the most ergonomic knife that I have handled. The Millie is considered one of the great knives. Not sure of price.
GEC large knives.
Bob Dozier PhatBob (KABAR) & the other Dozier Kabars.
Bob Dozier (Boker) Fixed Blades.
Many great pre-1970 or pre-1960 vintage folders can be found in mint condition for less than this price.
My list is just a scratch on the surface. There are many wonderful cutters to be found at very reasonable prices.
Another Spyderco Military vote here. I have an XM-18, lg Sebenza 21 and a Spyderco Military set ot in a row for EDC and 99% of the time it's the Military that gets picked up. It's deployment speed is uncanny as are the ergonomics and wickedly sharp blade. All in a package that only weighs 4 ounces.
