I just have to share this. I got some stencils from Ernie in the mail yesterday, and I just had to etch SOMETHING. I picked my calipers. Somebody please find something I did wrong because I'm so damned happy I feel like my kids getting a new toy.

Ernie's stencil, taped down;
Salt water solution
OLD DC toy train controller, measured at 17 vdc and 2.0 amps
q tip connected to alligator clip for dipping
touched across stencil maybe five times at 2 seconds each
redipped a couple of times and changed tips when they got dirty

Very nice! I like your mark. Now I have a reason to buy the next train power supply I see at a garage sale or flea market! :D Never even thought about that.

Electric Zombie:

Ernie Grospitch made the stencil. The "font" is a stylized vectored trace of my own handwriting I did it AutoCad. I originally made it to plasma cut my name out of sheet metal for my mailbox, and decided it would also be good to "personalize" a mark on a knife.
