Mustard patina

I was goofing around with forcing a mustard patina on a Case CV stockman. I must have left the mustard on too long because now I have a stockman with a deep black blade. I guess it's now a tactical stocman.
 
Some metal polish like Flitz or Simichrome can fix that, assuming you want to. It'll take the oxide off, OR you might even be able to lighten that patina a little bit with it.
 
Hit it with a scotchbrite sponge. Like just clean it at your kitchen sink with a little soap and that sponge. Usually works for me.
