My target visit will be around Christmas time. If anybody can make a mini-khon happen in that time frame, id be very very happy to meet my cantina friends for the first time!
 
No problem...everyone for the MWKK will just need to bring snowshoes, parkas, shovels and Khuks appropriate for frozen logs is all...

I guess the MWKK is out for you Danny...perhaps there will be a SWKK (SouthWest) or DSKK (Deep South) held...
 
make sense to me. WHat ever happened to the West khuk khon? I'd love to have Danny at the khon, but I hardly think he'll wanna fly from Japan to Texas, to Ohio during the Yule break. If we do do one in the winter in OH, I'll bring the icicles fer test cutting. I guess we'll build Igloos.

Fer you southwest folks, Icicles are big pointy things like stalactities that are made from frozen water.;)

At least I gots a new white handled Khuk fer the white season critters! :-)
 
Heres the deal: I have to come up wtih vacation time and 2000$ worth of airline tickets for me and Takako.
I can do it almost anytime, but I need at least 6 months warning.
So, I guess I'm asking for somebody to pick a date and get everybody to kinda agree to it and then I can work it out.
If anybody wants to do martial arts, thats kool and the gang.
I have a sword in America I can use, so we can wack away...
 
Phoenix is still an option. for the SWKK, maybe Dec. 3-4 or even Nov. 26-27 (There's a full moon that weekend :D ) That should take care of the California, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas crowd and anyone else who wants to escape the snow snakes and snow weasels for a few days ;)

Gin the next time Barb and I am in Phoenix we'll have to get together.
Dave K is also in Phoenix and I think Randall or another HI forumite are living there as well. I don't know Randall but Dave is a good nephew!!!!
There's a great Chinese eatery as well as a wonderful Mexican place just a few blocks from our daughters place's.
They live within a couple of blocks of one another, makes it handy when we're visiting.:D
