Some of you may remember my $26 pawn shop find from a few months ago:

Anyway, I decided to send it in for that "Spa" treatment I'd been hearing so much about. I sent it w/tracking but never heard anything. After almost 2 weeks I sent an email and was told that it wasn't in the system yet. Another two weeks passes, and no word so I email them again. They tell me it is on its way back. I was never contacted w/any payment information so I am curious to know what they did.

This is not a complaint thread, just in case it may sound that way. I'm just anxious to see how this thing looks when I get it back!

I can't speak for Buck but I bet/hope you will be very pleased and surprised when it arrives. Look forward to the after photos.

I am looking forward to sharing them!

BTW, what was your rate in the Navy? I was a CTR from 1991 - 1999.

EW. Did you go to A school at NTTC Corry Station? They had a lot of CT when I was there in 79. My former BIL was a CTI

I sure did! spent the better part of a year there, then off to Keflavik Iceland, Augsburg Germany, then here to San Diego. 9 days at sea in 9 years of service!

So, I was pleasantly surprised to find the knife waiting for me in the mailbox when I got home!

Enjoy the pix!

Very nice. I wish women were like a 110. You send them away and they come back prettier

Hey! What is this "spa treatment" I can send in my old 110's all about? They did an amazing job on that pawn shop deal!

It's a sharpening/Polishing service provided by Joe Houser and his team from Buck Knives. I thinks its about $7.00 per knife and the more you send in the cheaper it is, per knife.
