I picked up a 2 dot 110 off the bay and it showed up today...
It is in great condition, hasn't had much use at all. It needs the normal cleaning and I didn't think the edge was as sharp as it could be.
So I got out the sharpening stuff and figured I'd take as much time as it took to get it as sharp as I possibly could (No work today)...
I decided to lay it back to 25 degrees and then finish the edge at 30 degrees.
I was using a towel to carefully wipe the stone residue off before polishing the edge and I felt it
It was a thin towel and I wasn't using hardly any pressure at all, but it cut through the towel and sliced my thumb
I have now bonded with this knife and it is going to be with me next hunting season. I've had some very sharp knives but this one beats them all.
I even tried push cutting newspaper, but wasn't real hopeful because of the thickness of the blade... WRONG. It sliced through paper like a scalpel.
I know this probably isn't anything new to a lot of Buck owners, but I am happy beyond belief.
