When I returned from the Boise Knife Show there was a box of stabilized wood waiting for me. This included some koa I had not sanded or anything yet. I knew it was really good stuff, but when I started sanding it, well.......the photos show you what I found.
These are the 12 best blocks of stabilized koa I have. They will probably be too expensive for most knives. But if you have a really important knife to make this koa might be good for you. I will list more koa that will sell for about 1/2 what these cost later in the week.
These blocks have all been professionally stabilized by K&G (Knife & Gun finishing supply). They are all hard and heavy blocks that will finish up beautifully. These all come with a No Questions Asked, Money Back Guarantee. These blocks have been belt sanded to 220 grit and wiped with a light coat of danish oil. You can plan on them looking much better when you sand them finer and polish. The blocks will always look much better in person than they do in the photos.
US shipping is $5 for 1 block, International Shipping is $12 for 1 block. Free US and International Shipping if you purchase 2 or more blocks from this thread. If you want a block cut into scales there is no charge. Just mention in your post you want the block cut into scales and the thickness you want. Otherwise they will be cut to standard 3/8" thickness.
When you decide which blocks you want, just post "I'll take #s....." and I will mark them sold for you. Our address to make payment through Paypal is itsaburl@hotmail.com
