My 1st & 2nd traditional knife

I still have a sizable chunk of christmas party money, and I saw this..

You certainly picked a great starter. Your second choice looks like a winner as well.
Very nice:thumbup:

It's hard saving up for anything hanging around here. Good thing is there are plenty more with the same problem, so you can get a little money back when needed..... that's kinda like saving right?!?!?!? :o

After serious consideration, I purchased a GEC #79 in Smooth Ivory Bone, Apply named "Workhorse"

Thank you Knives ship free!

Happy New Years! :D

I have a North Woods Fremont jack in yellow camel bone which is made on the 79 frame and it is my absolute favorite of all my knives it is my constant companion! What a great start to your collection! Great choice on the smooth ivory bone!

Thanks for all the kind words everyone, I really like the color of the bone, I'm going to need an excuse to purchase a barlow. :D

The proper excuse is "N+1"
"N" being the current number of knives (or bicycles) you possess.

Here it is!

With the Large Courier sheath!

Please excuse my poor photographs, they don't show the excitement in my face :D
The Forest jack is quite larger than I had expected!

Last update *I promise*

The Ivory is buttery smooth, no problems at all with fit & finish, and the pull is easier than the Northwoods nailbreaker :D * I did break part of my nail trying to open it* haha

The Brothers are complete, thank you Knives Ship Free for your excellent service!!!

Love the #79, and yes . . . it needs some patina. Dark blades against the white bone will look spectacular.

Congrats on some splendid knives, Rappy!!:thumbup:
That sheath looks awesome, too!
Ya gotta think 2015 will be a great year after starting it off by gaining possession of those knives! :p
