• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

This is a blade i'm trying to finish for fathers day.Its 1095 with a clay coat HT
I followed one of the many tutorials, ended up using furnace cement.I got some pitting in it :grumpy: but its still pretty good to me.I have low standards ;)

Its almost done ...but here it is anyway, feel free to criticise i know it needs improvement .Mortised tangs are pretty fun to do.so was polishing for the hamon, what "makes" a hamon as far as detail goes.Did i remove too much etch during the polish?
