MY 1st CIVVI

I had a CIVIVI Button Lock Elementum. There were no problems. Smooth operation, solid lockup with no blade play, very comfy in the hand. The Button Lock just wasn't for me. I picked up a Baby Banter in trade. I don't think I would have ever chosen the Purple G-10, but now I love it. It's unobtrusive but well designed to handle bigger chores. I will be getting the Baby with Purple Micarta and Wharncliffe blade. Currently 4 of my top 10 are all 3 sizes of the Banter and the Pro-Tech Runt 5 with Purple Scales and Magnacut Wharncliffe blade.

I have a Civivi Teraxe and it is one of my favorite knives. It has solid lock up and extremely smooth action and better than some more expensive knifes. The Nitro V steel took a very fine edge using my tsprof kadet. They are currently on clearance on the Civivi website.

You should try the Sencut Errant. 9CR steel 3.45” blade. Feels great in hand, terrific action, super sharp, relatively light weight and $38.25! Least expensive WE/Civivi/Sencut folder I own and truly one of my favorites.

I have the Vexer because I wanted their biggest folder. It's great! I also have my eye on the Tranquil in micarta and damascus. Hopefully I'll have the cash for that soon.

It seems like a bunch of the steel frame-locks with inlays are in that position now, and not just on their website. Honestly, I sort of yawned at the idea of steel frame-locks with budget steels when they were first announced. Then someone convinced me to do an inlay swap on the Voltaic. Once I got messing around with it, I ended up really liking it. Then I tried the Savant and same deal. The Cachet was the last one I tried and it ended up being one my favorite Civivi models of all time.

Here are recent carry shots of two of the swapped Voltaics. If I didn't already have what I needed from this collection of designs, I'd be all over the discontinuation sales.
