My 1st custom knife can someone help?

Hello Steven!

I would, if I could, but unfortunately, I cant't, english not being my mothertongue. Thank you for your arrogance though! Much appreciated!

Alex,

My description is in error. The handmade makers do not have to design the knife, yet they have to produce it individually.

Yes, there are MANY legends whose knives are emulated in tribute. They are produced and replicated by individuals.

The term 'Custom Knife' is a grey area: lots of interpretations.

The term 'Handmade Knife' is also vague.

Each has distinctions, each has similarities.

Even the renowned Randall Knives and Chris Reeve Knives are superbly-made and top-quality, yet are NOT considered either of these generic terms.

Graphy, thanks for the thread and an opportunity to provoke our interests, and our emotions. :)

What was unintentional seems to be somehow valid.

It's hard enough to use the knife language accurately for some people, even me at times.....and appropriate to apologize when wrong terminology is employed.

Is it arrogance to request that you speak plainly? No more so than you assuming that people understand what you are saying in a foreign tongue. Many people post here that are not native English speakers, and they often finish what they are writing with an apology for possible confusion. That is called humility.

Perhaps we both need to employ humility in a great quantity.

Best Regards,
