Tools Used- flat file used for grinding the cutting edge and shaping the tang, small round file used for thumb jimping also located near the lanyard hole for reverse grip , hand held angle grinder with cut off wheel used to cut out the overall shape of the knife, hack saw for when my angle grinder failed, cheap craftsman table top belt sander for smoothing the grind marks out and shaping the micarta, band saw used for cutting the overall shape of the micarta.

I don't like the chisel grind, but overall that looks really good, i especially like how the handle is cut, functional and sort of geometric. i hope it protects and serves you well!

must be the quality of the photo.. sorry bad pictures, better finals coming soon, since i have made the knife it's not left the palm of my hand... its a great personal achievement of mine. To me this knife has a soul,, designed to protect and serve. It's one of those things "if you want it done right you gota do it your self" needless to say keydex pictures will follow as well. i carried the knife poorly secure in cardboard sheathing, resting in my front right pocket, deploying as needed to show friends at a police officers gathering, deciding pocket carry is very comfortable, effective..leading me to design a pocket carry solution as well as a cross draw iwb design... pictures will follow. .and dont forget final heat treating. final chemical coating has not been applied to this picture. i plan on bead blasting then using chemical duracoat dips including, parkerizing, black dip then final sealant

yes, a zero grind is a single beveled grind, with no secondary grind at the edge.

yours would be considered a left handed chisel, ala ernie emerson.

look forward to more pics and future models.

i like the look of it officer hope its never need in the field !! what itd like to ask is how thick how long. if you have not heat treathed it yet read up on convex it seams to be a good edge good work as said time to make #2 gunsone

I would like to thank those who commented on this post. Enjoy!

I grooved up the micarta, changed the blade design, bead blasted that beauty and gave her a bath in some warm parkerizing solution. Now she's happy to be held
