my 1st knife

I have 4 or 5 popular designs in the works. I feel they will be more physically and visually enhanced than my previous design. Most of them will be 8 inches and under will make great backup tools.. im not into skinners and hunters so expect tacticals in the future

hello . was wondering if you are able to heat treat the blades yourself or if you are sending them off to have it done.i just started making blades myself and i am still trying to get this part figured out.thanks. clint.

Clink, I'm going to leave heat treatment for the pros. I just received my order of 1/8 ATS34 I plan on sending it out when I'm done grinding. I have read mixed emotions how it should be treated. Too confusing and unclear, for example plate quench, oil quench, air quench, foil wrap no foil wrap, 1850 degrees or 1900 degrees 30 minutes or 15 minutes.. Not interested in doing my own heat treat anytime soon.

I don't want you to be discouraged by my lack of enthusiasm, there is a ton of information on this subject located on this forum and on the internet. I was interested in trying it awhile back and I found this website I thought was helpful.
