Very cool.....I may be wrong, but the clasp looks a bit on the fragile side for that rustic look......just an observation.
Other than that.....I like!

Neat concept. A couple of observations....the shoulder strap sort of looks like a recycled belt. The tooling on the strap is kind of a conflict with the plain finish of the rest of the satchel. I agree with Ray about the clasp. It does look a little bit light weight for this application. A rolled leather button and loop, or a strap with a buckle similar to the buckle used on the carrying strap might have looked more in line with the theme.

Having said all of that it is a really good concept and you did a good job in design and execution.

You guys are right on in saying the clasp is to fragile. It didn't prove to b very strong so I changed it out by the next day.
