I've been looking at Sebenzas for months. First time I saw an Insingo, I really thought that was the one.

I've read on the pros and cons of the blade shape and decided that since I don't generally stab hard objects with my knife, I can still enjoy the blade shape for my hardcore daily tasks of opening mail, boxes, and some food prep :)

So, finally pulled the trigger. Happiness is high, bank account is low. Now the wait begins...

congrads on your first, you'll love the insingo, as many of us do. Say goodbye to your bank account :D

did you get it with double lugs, or any other embellishments, or a plain jane single lug?

Just plain Jane. I've had double lugs on all my Benchmades and never recall using the other lug.

I considered Micarta, but I do like the clean look of the plain 21. I really like the clean looks of Apple products and the plain Sebenza falls into that category for me.

After I've used it for a while, perhaps I'll change my preferences on the options.

I'm hoping this will become my EDC for years to come. I carried a Benchmade 940 for about 7 years every day. Then I got into knives a few months ago and am up to 12 of them (mostly Spydies & Benchmades). I now carry a different knife almost every day. I hope this fine knife will keep me satisfied for a while. My bank account is at stake :)

You got yourself a fantastic Sebenza, especially for your first!

The Insigno is a great blade, plain and simple.

Congrats and enjoy it....and start saving up now for your next one!:D...perhaps one with Micarta? ..

Yepper! You will love it! Congratulations on your purchase. The rest of your collection may never see the inside of your pocket again! :D Enjoy!

Oh, and pics, please, when it arrives!

Congrats! I've yet to get an Insingo, but the blade looks very handy.

that is the one I like ;-) hopefuly I'll be able to pick one up before the year is over

Thanks everyone. I had hope my new baby would arrive today, but no luck. The vendor didn't ship it until Tuesday, so I'm pretty sure it will be tomorrow before I get it.

It's so sad, I was watching Sebenza unboxing videos last night to get my fill.

Whatever you do, don't post pics of your insingo's just to rub it in :)

Who would do such a cruel thing like that?

:p somebody had to and I'm feeling a bit of a smart#$* today.

Hang in there, totally worth the wait!

Noooooo!!! Such cruelty.... :O)

To satisfy my craving for knife buying, I also bought this yesterday:

Funny, not a huge fan of inlays on the Sebenza, but it just "works" for me on the Alan Davis. This flipper will also be my first Damascus blade. Hmm, $800 on knives in a matter of a couple days. I smell divorce... :)

I find when I've purchased several hundred dollars worth of knives in a short period of time..cough, weeks,..people are very understanding ...on bladeforums:thumbup:

Buy your wife $800 worth of whatever she's in to and sleep happy.

Great Alan Davis by the way!

Thanks! Well, as luck would have it, the post office "misrouted" my package. I've gotten lots of them, but my luck ran out. Let's hope I get it tomorrow....

It's here! It's perfect! Still can't believe how damn smooth Sebbies are. A brand new knife. It feels like no "break in" will be needed :0).

I'm super happy right now. Can't post pics from work, but will later tonight.

If I keep the lockbar off the blade, it makes zero difference on blade motion (in terms of resistance). None of my knives are this precise. This Sebbie lives up to the CRK hype, no doubt.

Did I mention I'm happy ;)

Just some quick shots with my iPhone. Looks sweet sitting on that cigar box. That's my "EDC box" where I keep my EDC items at night. Surprisingly, it holds guns, knives, even an RPG... just kidding :D:D:D

I'm still super impressed with this knife. Great feel. I've been carrying it all day and already managed to scratch the Ti a little :) Don't really care, as I bought this baby to use it. If I wanted resale value, I would have just kept my money and not bought it to begin with. It's already done the horrendously difficult task of opening one entire piece of mail. It arrived with perfect edge grinds, which flow beautifully into the insingo swedge. I am so glad I got the Insingo blade. Such a cool shape. Here's my Sebbie. There are many like it, but this one is mine:
