My $20 Eskabar

it would be better if you hired a model. so we know where to focus :D

I was going to do it nude, but keep my package kind of fuzzy and out of focus.

These were going like hotcakes at the Ka-Bar booth for $40. I got there around noon on Saturday and made a beeline for the booth. All they had left was this one and the display model.

It now sports a set of orange handle scales and on its way to becoming my favorite small fixed blade.

try coming the last 2 hours and sunday only to find out we sold out the day before :)

Groan......LOL............If I am ever able to go to Blade there is only one booth I wanna be at, Ka-bar. Like I said, I'd pay just to stand in the wait line all weekend. ;)

Every so slightly out of straight. Looking down the blade, I can't even tell it. Biggest blem is where they pinged it to mark it as a second.
Oh yeah, for about 15 seconds, Ka-Bar floated a $5 Spec-Ops Long deal, but your friendly moderators snagged them before they hit the table.

Great deal on SPEC-OPS sheaths. The Becker Ka-Bar sheaths are poor and the weakest part of the knife. I have been slowly buying SPEC-OPS sheaths myself. I wish I could get a price like that.:D

Naw, 8U baseball has been sucking up all my time.

Looks like it is two strands. I'd know more if I saw the back, but it looks like it is a standard weave with a loop run through the middle with the second strand.

If it is all one strand (which is more likely to be honest) I'd guess it was standard weave but before pulling it to the opposite end it is once around the braid.

Yea, i'd really like to see the back too. Not only does the weave look great, but I'm very curious how he hid the ends on the back.

It's one strand. There's a loop-and-through on each pass. I clipped the ends, melted them together, and flattened them with a spoon handle.
