My 25 " Sirupati and my 15" Sirupati came in today. This really surprised me. Both Khukuris are awesone! There is really a big difference in feel. The 15" model feels like it would perform well in various escrima drills. Light and very, very fast. The 25" sirupati is something to behold. This puppy feels alot better than my Roman Gladius that I sold for the 25 incher. So far I tried the 25" on some tatami rolls I use for my Katanas. I cleanly severed two 5" rolls with one cut! I'll post more results when I get a chance.
 
I just got in from my yard (doing some test cutting). The 25" Sirupati really gives you a work out. The weight isn't as bad as a Falchion, but closer to the Falcata. I tried the 25" on a wooden poll about 5' tall with a 2" diameter. The Sirupati was able to cut it in half! I used a diagonal cut (shoulder to the hip). I was really impressed. This short sword cuts like a larger sword, but easier to carry. I will mount it on my ruck sack. Now I'm wondering how the 30" model will be? Maybe a handle long enough for two hands?..
