Finally finished my 2nd flipper, the Prime-1.
Blade is 4" Chad Nichols Blackout Damascus, hand polished before etched, .160" thick, ground free hand.
Handles were done in a heavy orange peel starfire finish, .180" thick.
Custom machined pivot.
3D sculpted hand ground backspacer in Blacken Ti finish.
Protruding backspacer with Blacken Ti finiah.
Silver Twill CF insert.
New detent process for a really fast and hard snap. I can't post videos for some reason so check out my IG if interested in the action.
All hand made.
I've learned a lot and working hard to get better. This was way better than my first knife. I'm still far away from a level that I can actually feel right about charging someone for a knife, but I'm getting there. Thanks for all the support guys!
