My 2nd Hinderer, XM-18 bead blasted

Great looking knife, I love the bead blasted look.

Looks very clean with the blasted blade, thumbstuds, & handle. Makes me wonder what one would look like if Hinderer blasted the screws & hardware too, I bet it would look so smooth.
Would be a perfect EDC for dates & dinners.

There have been a few all bead blasted, but I can't find any of the pics. We did some XM-24's all bead blast with gray scales for blade a few years ago that looked great.

This one is close...

Completing the slicer flipper trifecta with a 3.5", my third XM. It was represented as bead blasted but it may be sandblasted. Hardware too it looks like. It is still inbound so these are the previous owner's pictures. Gen4, I think it may end up with a blue/black scale.

I agree, that looks like it was sandblasted.

Well, I hope it's original but either way it's a hard to find flipper slicer 3.5 G4 which is exactly what I want at this point. Looking forward to getting it, will share more when it shows up on my front porch :)

That one would look great with blue/black, but then again, it's no secret that I like that color...

The sandblasted 3.5 came today, it's a lot larger than the 3", I may end up selling the XM-24 as the 3.5 seems perfect for a large knife for me. The 3.5 detent is really tight though while the other 2 I have it's pretty light. That is one thing I don't like as much. I understand now why some people really need flippers, I can't easily open this knife with just the thumb studs.
I really like the sandblasted finish, I guess I prefer bead blasted slightly but the knife is really sharp. All hardware including standoffs are also sandblasted, and it's so nice looking. I was planning on some blue standoffs but it doesn't make sense on this knife. I even like the green more than I thought I would but I still think a blue/black scale is going to have to go on in the near future.

I can't wait to take some pictures!
