This quartet is marvelous but too pretty for me as I just can't bring myself to use them and the rosewood ones get to have all the fun. So they're up for adoption as a family and have never done a lick of work or been tested, but have led a very pampered life. Here's what they are:

Zebra SN1 - click GH Catalog Research Photo, then Khukuri Galleries, and you'll see this very one, then enlarge the photo and feast your eyes.

Zebra WW2 - just as beautiful. Craig says this and the SN1 are the only 2 Zebras he has ever gotten.

Afghan - one of the original 10. the "power glide", it just seems to float thru the air.

Balance - 14" overall and the blade is the same angle as, and looks much like a mini Afghan. these 2 belong together.

All these have ever cut is air, and I hope they will go to a very loving home. The asking price for the whole shootin' match is $315, and I'll throw in all the zippered soft cases I've got and do the shipping to boot (lower 48).

I've really enjoyed them, and am sure somebody else will, too. They are just lovely. Feel free to inquire here or e-mail me. BTW, this is a real deal and it's like getting one for free.

Be well....Dan

Buddy, once you've lost these to a buyer, we'll have to send you a sympathy card... You think you'll get rid of the virus by isolating yourself from the infection...?

Nay, nay, my good friend! I couldn't even begin to part with these beautiful things if I had the affliction. Even tho' I experienced an adrenalin rush of sorts when I got the wonderful Afghan one day and a Cheetlang the next, I fought off the allure of the dark side.

This viral notion isn't unique to khukuris, as the varmint guys talk about this as an excuse for their addiction on their own board. Either it ain't so or I'm just flat out immune. There was a time when you guys almost had me buying into the scheme, but I've shaken it off like a dog does water after a dip. If it was so I wouldn't even be able to consider parting with these unusual and extremely gorgeous creme of the crop khukuris.

But I have this feeling you're about to ambush me by saying that I've got 2 kinds of viruses and they're just competing with each other for total control of the shootin'/khukuri purchasing fund. I will just look you straight in the computer screen and say it ain't so! Look, just because I'm eyeing an 8.5 lb. varmint number in .17 Rem doesn't mean a darn thing. I'M CLEAN, I TELL YA!!!

And just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get ya! ....Dan

OK, so you haven't got the disease. But I'm certain whoever takes them off your hands will get some well looked after khuks at a bargain price. Mebbe yuh might not have loved 'em all to death, but yuh shure pampered 'em all to 'ell!

Besides khuks, I've got this affection (read: affliction) for black powder rifles. Not being able to get a second Kentucky with a Roman nose stock, I got this .58 Zouave. I loaded 112 grains of Fffg the other day and two of my friends had to stop me from falling backwards over my feet from the recoil! Penetration: both sides of one of those big steel liquid gas bottles. Yeah, it's this sickness that gets to some of us.

I'll tell ya - Dan almost HAND PICKED his khukuris, so whoever buys these will be well rewarded. He bought primarily for the handles - I think he has the most "zebras" of anyone.
